The Rotary Club of Nashoba Valley is proud to host the First Annual Cabin Fever Winter Festival 2020, on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Bolton Town Common, open to all. All net proceeds will benefit the Nashoba Valley towns of Bolton, Lancaster, and Stow.

With something for everyone, the 2020 Cabin Fever Winter Festival will be fun for all ages:

  • Chili Challenge: Enjoy tasting the special chili recipes of local restaurants as they compete for the Chili Champ of 2020.
  • Pull a Person Sled Race: Pull your child, pull your friend, or pull your Grandmother over the finish line, to vie for the Sled Race Champion of the Year!
  • Join the Sled Parade: Decorate your sled - and win a prize for your creativity.
  • Touch a Fire Truck: Thanks to all three Fire Departments from Bolton, Lancaster and Stow, there will be three different types of fire vehicles available for kids to explore.
  • Decorate a Snowperson Contest: Use your creative talents to decorate a plywood snowperson prior to the event, bring it to the Festival for judging, and showcase it for the month of February on Bolton Common.
  • Scavenger Hunt through Bolton Trails: Enjoy a walk through the wonderland of Bolton Trails, searching for specific items.
  • Winter Corn Hole Contest: Who will be the champs? Put together the best corn holers you know.
  • Games and Activities: All around Bolton Common, there will several activities to keep the kids entertained.
  • Meet Olaf: Have your kids - or yourself - pose for photos with one of the stars of "Frozen."
  • Raffle and Silent Auction: Bring a little extra money - and maybe your checkbook - because you're not going to want to miss out on these great items.
  • S'mores and Hot Chocolate: Fire pits around the pergola will be set up for toasting marshmallows - and all the fixings for a great s'more will be on hand. Hot chocolate will be available all day, too.
  • Sample Beer and Wine from Local Vendors: With the price of a ticket, each adult will be treated to two three-ounce glasses of beer and wine from local vendors.
  • Music with the Best DJ Ever!: Joel Bates, principal of Sawyer School in Bolton, will keep the action going with music and updates on schedules and winners.
  • And much, much more!
