President’s Report 9th October 2018
 
Good to see many members wearing various types of hats for Hat Day to raise awareness about mental health and raising funds for research.
 
Road Safety Youth Driver Awareness Programme is planned to occur at wagga Show Ground between 25 and 29 March 2019. The driver training programme will involve up to 700 High School students. Our club will be involved on the Wednesday. Minutes of the recent committee meeting forwarded to our club committee.
 
Working bee on the maintenance of marquees will be held this Thursday 11th October commencing at 8am at Rotary shed. There are a number of marquees that require repairs. If you are available, please attend the working bee.
 
9700 District Annual General Meeting and President’s meeting will occur on Saturday 20th October at Young.
 
A friendly reminder to members who pay their club subscriptions quarterly that their subs are due now.
 
Very Good report has been received on Tim Hutchings progress after his major operation last week. The operation was very successful and Tim hopes to return to Wagga Wagga from Melbourne by the close of this week.
 
We welcomed Wal Paton back to Wagga Wagga and the Club from his recent illness and stay in a distant hospital.
 
Club members extend their sympathy and condolences to Christine and Mark and family members on the passing of Christie’s father. Our thoughts and prayers are with Christine, Mark and family members at this time of grief.
