There is a new club in town.  For prospective Rotarians who prefer a mid-day meeting, the Rotary Club of Suntree and The Viera Voice are co-sponsoring The Rotary Club of Viera.
Why do we need a Viera Rotary Club?  Because Rotary Clubs help build strong communities!  The new club meets every Wednesday at noon at Tequila Azul at the Avenue of Viera. Becoming a Rotarian is about fellowship, becoming a better leader and the joy of giving back.
We now have 23 members signed up and the following officers have been elected:
Eva Ray, President
Lauren Hutto, Pres. Elect
Diane Pisacano, Secretary
Larry Smith, Treasurer
Skip Taylor, Sergeant at Arms
For more information about joining the new club as a Founding Member or about joining our Suntree Rotary Club please call Mike Pisacano at 321-622-4610.

Suntree Rotarian, Woody McDaniel, has been working in and helping communities in LaPaz, Honduras since 2001. Woody's goals have always been to help the people obtain better education and quality of living. Woody's skills as a craftsman, as well as his knowledge of how to get things done in LaPaz, insure that every penny given to this cause is put to good use.

Woody, back from a recent trip, has reported that the critical work at the school is now done and they are preparing for another critically needed project in LaPaz.

Thank you Woody for all you do for the children of LaPaz!
