Another International Project has just finished! Our club supported the Rotary Club of Kapolei Sunset as they spearheaded the Books 4 Kids project. Taking advantage of the Department of Education's plan to switch to Common Core, thousands of textbooks/books were being discarded. RCKS member Jim Handsel wanted to fill a void in the Philippines where Typhoon Haiyan had just destroyed several schools. Over the past year and a half Rotarians and friends have been collecting books and packing them and shipping them to the Phlippines.

July 10th District Governor Del Green inducted the 2015-2016 Board of Rotary Club of Kapolei! 
 

 

Jan 28, 2016: Our speaker this week will be Glen Hayashida of the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii. He will be addressing the prevalence of kidney disease in Hawaii and NKFH's future in Kapolei.

 

Feb 4, 2016: Club Assembly - We will be discussing our Centennial Project 

 

Feb 11, 2016: Steve Kelly of the Campbell Corporation. 

 

Feb 18, 2016: Kevin O'Keefe of Edward Jones.
