Rotary International President, Ian Riseley, challenged each Rotary club to plant one tree for every member from July 2017 through Earth Day 2018 (April 22, 2018).  The Rotary Club of Ala Moana is up for the challenge!

We will be teaming up with Hawaii Baptist Academy's Interact club as well as Kailua Elementary School, a Title I school, with their respective forest plots at Hamakua Marsh.

The planting of the trees will kick off our count to 45 trees (one for each member of the Rotary Club of Ala Moana).  We would like to get at least 10 club members to help in this projects (family and friends count, too!).

LOCATION:  Chain link gate on Hamakua Drive, adjacent to 268 Hamakua Drive.  Limited parking inside.  Additional parking in the neighborhood.

BRING:  Water bottle, covered shoes, hat, and sunscreen.  Long sleeves recommended.
