The Rotary Club of Lubbock dedicated a granite bench at the Veterans War Memorial at Huneke Park on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, commemorating the club’s recent centennial and honoring all healthcare and front-line people who helped Lubbock during the COVID-19 pandemic. Members of the healthcare community, city officials, police departments, fire departments, and local school districts were represented at the ceremony. The bench  sits at the head of the walkway to the Rotary Meditation Circle, donated by the club in 2005 to honor Rotary International’s centennial.

100 Years of Leading The Way with Service Above Self in Lubbock!
The Rotary Club of Lubbock celebrates its 100th year of leading the way with Service Above Self in the Lubbock area in 2021. To commemorate the occasion, the Lubbock City Council extended a proclamation and recognition on April 27, 2021 for the extraordinary impact that Rotarians had in building and growing our city for over 100 years. The club also recognized our longest-serving member Owen Hamilton for 62 years of service to others. What a legacy of service, dedication and excellence!

The Rotary Club of Lubbock has not skipped a step, despite the challenges related to COVID-19.
We have converted our weekly meetings to a virtual platform until further notice.
If you are interested in joining our weekly meeting in the cyber world, please contact us at admin@lubbockrotary.org.
We'd be happy to hear from you!

For over 100 years we have led the way with Service Above Self for Lubbock and its surrounding communities, and our Tradition in Service is still going strong.
