Pat Arling, Peg Duenow
President Pat Arling opened the meeting with greeting visitors and guests and thanking the 2017-18 Board members for their service. Pat gave some highlights of his year including:
- $52,000 in Foundation Grants award by the club plus a $25,000 commitment to the Miracle Field League mini-golf course.
- Tom Hendrickson and Jim Christian raising over $200,000 for Iringa Hope micro-finance project.
- Lakeville Rotarians raised $5,222 for Polio Plus which included $1072 raised by the Lakeville South National Honor Society.
- Many Community Service projects within Dakota County including Armful of Love, Blood Drive and others..
- Youth Service projects including STRIVE and giving $19,500 in college scholarships in 2017-18.
- Club was recognized with several awards including the 2017-18 District Governor and Rotary International Presidential Citation Awards.
The club recognized President Pat for his service and he handed the Gavel to President Peg Duenow for the 2018-19 Rotary Year.
Peg introduced her board and shared some of her goals for the 2018-19 Rotary Year which include working on new South of the River Rotaract Club and Membership Satisfaction Survey.
