Ann Messerschmidt - Environmental Resources Specialist, City of Lakeville.
Ann has been working with the City for 17 years conducting wetland and construction site reviews, planning events like the city’s largest volunteer event (Watershed Cleanup Day), ensuring the City is meeting Stormwater Pollution Prevention requirements of the state, as well as managing native vegetation at past environmental improvement projects, monitoring water quality at all Lakeville Lakes, and managing pretty much any outside thing you can think of. Ann is the main person who is making sure the Valley Lake Pollinator garden is functioning at tip-top shape and is here today to provide an update.
