WCSD Plans for Managing WC-1

Pete Etchert is a fourth generation Nevadan and graduated from the University of Nevada with Bachelor’s Degrees in Renewable Natural Resources & Civil Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Pete was previously employed in both the private and public sector as Engineering Manager for Stantec Consulting and City Engineer for the City of Sparks. In his current position as Chief Operating Officer for the Washoe County School District Pete oversees Capital Projects, Facilities Management, Transportation, and Nutrition Services.  Pete will be speaking about the the school district's plans to improve the condition of many of the area's schools now that the WC-1 initiative has passed..
