Carlton Geer is the President and CEO of the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nevada and Managing Partner of Global Gaming and Hospitality (GGH).  Under Geer's guidance, the iconic Sparks property has undergone major renovations to modernize the facility and attract new business. Recent renovations include the addition of Gilley's Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que, remodeling the Noodle Hut & Sushi Bar, adding a VIP Lounge, moving and renovating the Gift Shop and the Sports Book & Tailgate Deli and more.

Geer and his partner, Michael Kim, started GGH in 2009. GGH is an experienced private casino management and merchant advisory firm with offices in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and New York City.  Prior to forming GGH, Geer was a founding member and executive vice president of the Global Gaming Group at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE). He advised owners and buyers in landmark transactions such as The Las Vegas Hilton, Sahara Las Vegas, Reno Hilton, Caesars Tahoe, Flamingo Laughlin, Gulfport Grand and more.  Carlton received CBRE's Innovation Award for 2005 for his success in defining, developing and successfully executing the gaming market practice for the company. Before joining CBRE, Geer was the President and CEO of Showboat Nevada and Showboat Indiana.

Geer has deep roots in Northern Nevada.  In the 1980s and early 1990s, he was at the Peppermill Reno Hotel and Casino for 13 years, the last three as its general manager.  He also spent four years at the Eldorado Reno Hotel Casino.  Geer holds a bachelor's of science from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
