Young Leaders Initiative for Africa

The Northern Nevada International Center will present two brief presentations by two Mandela Washington Fellows.  The fellows are part of a group of 25 fellows (all of whom will be attending the luncheon as well) participating in President Obama’s Young Leaders Initiative for Africa.  The fellows are learning about entrepreneurship and leadership in an intensive six-week program at the University of Nevada.  The fellows hail from the following countries: Angola, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
