Math Contest at Lemelson

We are the Gold Sponsor of this math contest. We could use about 5 or 6 volunteers to help with scoring and proctoring. You don't have to be good with Math. You just have to like smart students in grades 3-12. You don't have to stay the whole time. 

Also, Sherry Griffin, the ED of NNvMath, met with Lemelson's Assistant Principal Michon the end of last week and one of their 5^th grade teachers.  It went really well! They plan to utilize some of Competition Team members to run an after school math club and offer enticements for students to participate (looking at the 1^st week of November to start).  Enticements include: lunch with Principal Jonna, dress passes, and even extra credit in math class for participating in all the Saturday contest rounds.  Lemelson staff is very motivated to get the kids involved this year!
