This is a great way to start the new year. Rotary's motto is "Service above Self;" here is one of the many ways you can do some service. Come join some great Rotarians and other community volunteers to help the Food Bank help those who are hungry across northern Nevada and northern California.
Our shift is now one hour later than before. Now it's 9 - 11 AM - perfect! Then you have the rest of the day to do your shopping or other fun. Carpools might be available. Mention in your comments if you want to give or take a ride with another Rotarian.
We might be sorting and packing non-perishable foods or packing boxes distributed to seniors through the Commodity and Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) or sorting and packing bulk produce for distribution through the Mobile Harvest program and Partner Agencies. fbnn.org
Remember, hunger especially impacts children and seniors.
Feel free to invite a friend but children must be at least age 10. You can also let us know of friends and family in comments.
Thank you.
