June 30th marks the end of this Rotary year

The COVID restrictions did not stop us from helping our community and people in need. Some of our members have not even met face to face. We managed to carry out several fundraising projects:

Donated 1,000 bottles of hand sanitizers and 2,000 disposable face masks to low income families through Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives.

Donated 6,000 masks with a retail value of $3,000, and $1,200 for a Christmas lunch for 100 low-income seniors through the Minoru Seniors Society.

Held a shred day and raised approximately $3,000 for the Gateway Theatre Summer Camp for kids and Chimo Community Services

Our Chinese New Year Zoom Party raised $8,000, with District Grants and contributions from the Rotary Richmond Foundation, we are planning to donate total of $20,000 to the Richmond Hospital Foundation for a cystoscope, part of the important and vital equipment upgrades.

Our annual contribution to the Richmond Christmas Fund.

A BIG Thank you to President James, PE Suna and the board for pushing forward all the projects, our members for their fundraising effort and our friends for their continuous support.
