Juan Burry - Classification Talk at the Rotary Hospice House
Note: This is a jam packed day, Tony and Nancy Yurkovich will join us to give a brief history of the Hospice. There will also be a cheque presentation from our club to the Rotary Hospice House to donate $5,000 towards purchasing the Vital Sign Monitor.
Juan's classification is Hospice Administration. He joined our club in 2014.
Juan is the Executive director of The Salvation Army Rotary Hospice House in Richmond. The 10 room Hospice is a partnership between the Rotary Club of Richmond and The Salvation Army.
He was born and raised on the island of Newfoundland, he completed his officer training in St. John’s and had his first two appointments in small Newfoundland communities. He was the executive director of the Addictions and Rehabilitation Centre in Victoria.
