Student 1        Goal for this program was to get some idea of what I want to be “job wise”.
I was overwhelmed with awesome careers at first. But now I actually think I’ve got one I mind for me.
Additional comment:
This Adventure was awesome, so unexpected how great it would be. This trip… was so rich in knowledge and great insight. The best aspect I can take away from this 3 day adventure is it has definitely pushed me into a career path that will benefit me for the rest of my life.

#2  Forestry has been at the back of my head my entire life. When I saw the presentation of Janice and Ron’s, I wanted to see what the big deal was.
And IT’S HUGE. Forestry is the basis of life in Prince George. This program was very road based and made sure someone like me realized how important forestry is.
#3   My goal for this program was to see all the jobs in the forestry industries.
They were met by all the speakers telling us what they do and even more.
#4   I wanted to learn about Forestry and how the business as a whole works.
We learned lots about Forestry.
AC                  I mostly enjoyed hanging out with new people and getting to know them. It was really fun.
My favourite activity was planting trees. It –helped a cause, was fun to do, and I had a great time doing it.
#5   My goal for this program was to go out and experience a variety of different study fields all linking to forestry and environmental studies.
They were exceeded. I was not thinking I would have this much fun.
AC   I loved tree planting!,  I want to become a forest fire fighter.
Amazing people, amazing program. I honestly loved it.

They were met more than expected and I liked everything I saw.
                            Lunch with Rotarians***awesome people. Initial Attack Lots of fun. Awesome burgers!

                        They were met by taking us to various forestry centers.
AC                  Banquet 5*** sad to see them go. Make the program longer. J

                        They were well succeeded. The people make the program and the people wee awesome. Even though it’s 3 days I wish it was longer. Thank you all!

AC                  More interaction with Rotarians at lunch. It would be nice if we were given randomized seating arrangements for the bus to blend with everyone. Sad face that Dr. Wimmers was not present to speak at Banquet (gave a 3)

AC                  loved WIDC, missed Dr. Wimmers @ banquet “He was the best”, wish we had more time just to socialize with the other kids, didn’t feel like enough free time.

                        They were met to a crazy extent! I’ve made amazing friends and learned so much!
AC                  I would have liked to see some harvesting of trees and learn more about that end.

                        They were met because we got to meet people who do a variety of jobs who all really love them.
                        They showed us the requirements for these jobs and how fun they can be.
AC                  This was such a fun thing to be part of! I’m so so glad I decided to join this program because it gave me that extra insight into so many different careers that I’m interested in. I met so many amazing people that I’m going to miss so much. It amazes me how fast we all became friends, we were so comfortable around each other, it felt like family.

They were completely met and I understand exactly what the options are out there. The tour of UNBC was not as great due to the fact that it was closed.(special tour for this student)

AC                  Thank you guys so much for this amazing experience. I have learned a lot more about forestry than what I knew already and have seen more jobs that interest me at CNC. This program has helped me break out of my shell when talking to people which is awesome for me with my anxiety. THANK YOU!
