On Monday, Dec 7 at 6:30 PM, we will hold an online-only club meeting.  Our speaker will be Keith Maskus on the likely direction of trade policies under Biden.

President-elect Biden will face at least 4 high-priority and interrelated trade issues to address. These include working to ensure an equitable and efficient global distribution for Covid vaccines, reengaging with the global trading system to reinvigorate the WTO, cooperating with Europe on addressing challenges raised by China, and determining best avenues for reorienting trade and support policies to better reflect the needs of the American middle class.  These are complex issues defying simple solutions. Professor Maskus will overview the key tradeoffs involved and how a Biden Administration might approach them.

Our meetings are now online using Zoom.
