Guided Tour and Social Hour at the Blanton Museum

Tour begins at 5:30 and includes the new Ellsworth Kelly Building and Ancestral Modern: Australian Aboriginal Art. $2.00 per participant. Our tour guide will be the docent Laraine Ladson, a longtime member of the downtown club and a good friend to our club. Social hour begins 6:15-6:30 (cash bar). A Great Opportunity to invite potential New Club Members! And there are some other activities going on at the Blanton at the same time:

• Music by international performing and recording artist Celil Refik Kaya,featuring the works of Jorge Morel and Carlo Domeniconi. At 6:30 p.m.in the Blanton Auditorium, in collaboration with Austin Classical Guitar.
• A thoughtful and relaxed 30-minute conversation about a single work of art on view at the museum: Slow Looking begins at 7:30 p.m.
