The VASS Cup is evolving to... the
VASS Cup & Snowfest!!
The VASS Cup & Snowfest is a fun day of activities and celebration for the VASS Community (and our biggest fundraiser!), but this year we’re adding new activities to make sure there’s something fun for EVERYONE.
- Take part in a FUN ski/board “race” alongside skiers with disabilities on the Cut (a green run), where the goal is to try and get as close as you can to the same time on your first and second runs
- For younger participants or those who just want to have fun, try the NEW all-levels ski/snowboard adventure course by Paradise
- Come to the Experience Zone to try out a mini VASS lesson - maybe you’ve always wanted to sitski or try blind skiing? Also come and see the evolution of sitski with our new TETRASKI demo
- Want to ski lots and experience the whole mountain? Join the ski-a-thon and see how many runs you can complete in the day!
- Try your hand at sledge hockey.
- After all that, join us for celebration, apres-ski and a fun auction.
- You can take part in all the activities, or simply enjoy the spectacular views from the top of Grouse Mountain. Whatever you do, you'll be sure to experience the VASS MAGIC! Bring your family, friends and colleagues and show them what VASS is all about.
All funds raised support ski and snowboard programs for people with disabilities on our local mountains.
Signing up is as easy as 1-2-SKI!:
- Sign up as an individual or set up a team
- Select whether you want to race in the Cup or enjoy the other activities on offer as an individual
- Fundraise! Ask friends and family to sponsor you to race in the Cup, tackle the adventure course, for every run you complete in the ski-a-thon - or just because VASS does amazing work. Our online system will make it easy and we’re here to help if you need any help or ideas.
