About 250 hungry people attended the Taste of  Greater Springfield (TOGS) held at the Waterford in Springfield on November 1, 2015.  They sampled the cuisine from over 20 restaurants located in the Greater Springfield area.  Each restaurant provided samples from their menu and information about their establishment. There was also wine and beer samplings provided by local wine and beer distributors.

We plan on holding another Taste of Greater Springfield next year.  We hope all can attend to sample the food of over 20 fine restaurants in our area.  Details on how you can sign up for the event will be posted early next year.  We look forward to seeing all of you next year.

On April 15, Melanie Spring, Chief Inspiration Officer at Sisarina and former Rotarian, visited the Club to talk about Branding.

"How would you describe Rotary?" That's Melanie's opening remark on her "How to Rock Your Brand" presentation. As a former Rotarian, she told us on how we can sell the Rotary image to our friends, colleagues and perfect strangers but we needed to believe it ourselves first, remember "Your brand is what EVERYONE ELSE is saying about you, not what you're saying about yourself"

During our meeting on April 8, 2015 we discussed many things about our Reverse Raffle:

  • Review of ticket sales
  • Updated list of sponsors, donors and items for Silent Auction
  • Communications
  • Credit Card Authorization Forms
  • Online Tickets
The Raffle is only 3 weeks away.
