For this week's presentation, we will have the Binner's Project, an organization that we supported in the fall. The topic is a review of their most recent activities. Let's look forwarding to hearing more on their work!

Presenter Bio: Iris’ family immigrated from Taiwan when she was a year old. She grew up in North Burnaby and has been a Vancouver resident for more than 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology from the University of British Columbia and spent 17 years working for the BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in revenue development, humane education and most recently in operations overseeing branches in Northern BC and Vancouver.
 
She is a non-profit specialist and her passion for recycling/waste diversion and social justice attracted her to Binners’ Project. Iris works directly with our clients and partners and secures additional contracts to create income opportunities for our members.
 
Iris is also an animal-lover (and admittedly favours dogs), avid runner and unwavering Vancouver Canucks fan.
