Heather has sent an email about a bus trip to the Pink Poodle on 4.26 to pick out Derby attire- grab a $20 seat on the 5:30 bus before all the spots are gone! The silent auction gift baskets are being assembled after the meeting on 4.18. Bring any donations you have for the Baskets, and stay to help if you can. Items are still being accepted. We will auction off some Derby Hats at the meeting on 4.18, so if you need one, get ready to have some bidding fun!
You can sign up for the District Conference on the 6250 website. It will be close by in Madison on May 20-22nd. If you've never attended a District Conference, it is well worth your time.

Located in Stoughton, Wisconsin, Three Gaits, Inc., is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization whose mission is to provide equine-assisted activities and therapies that enhance the lives of people with physical, emotional, or intellectual challenges. They offer riding sessions to adults and youth with a wide range of disabilities using 4 different programs:
Therapeutic Riding(Sport/Recreational) – Incorporates education, competition, therapy and recreation into horseback riding
Hippotherapy – A therapist uses the movement of the horse as a treatment tool, working toward functional goals
Carriage Driving– A new therapeutic carriage driving program provides a wider-based therapeutic equine experience
Un-Mounted Horsemanship Activities– To learn about horse care and horsemanship skills from the ground. They have 150 volunteers, 17 horses, certified teachers and are one of 5 accredited programs in WI, serving about 350 riders a year. To learn more, visit www.3gaits.org
Bree, a senior at Parker, has a younger Sister and was accompanied by her Mom Kelli. She is active in DECCA, LINK Crew, Prom, Peer Assistant in Math and HR Club. She has participated in Relay for Life, ECHO, Blood drives, 4-H and her Church. She plays Basketball (6 years) and helps coach. She enjoys sports stats, reading and music, and will attend Hillsdale College to major in Exercise Science.
Coby, a Senior at Craig, has a twon Sister and older Brother. His hobbies are football and basketball. His Club activities include DECCA, Live United, Spanish Club, and Blood Drive. He will attend UW Whitewater to major in Business, Business Management, or Coaching.

Many of this year’s proposed changes are designed to increase membership by giving clubs greater flexibility in the timing and the nature of their meetings. Other proposals would amend membership requirements.
The Rotary Foundation and UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education are offering up to 10 scholarships for graduate study at UNESCO-IHE's Delft campus in the Netherlands. The aim is to increase the number of trained professionals who can devise, plan, and implement water and sanitation solutions in developing areas. The scholarships also are designed to promote long-term relationships between Rotary members and skilled water and sanitation professionals.

Interact clubs are making a positive difference in schools and communities around the world. Leaders of sponsor Rotary clubs and districts should make sure their Interact clubs get the recognition they deserve by verifying that they qualify for a Presidential Citation.
First, ensure that the Interact club status is active in Rotary's database by checking the Listing of Club-Sponsored Organizations report in Rotary Club Central. If a sponsored club is not listed, submit the Interact Club Certification Form by 1 March.
