1)A low cost shelter for Rs 60000/- was sponsored by the members of the club.
2)A free Medical camp for diabetes obesity and eye check up was undertaken by the club where 160,persons were screened for diabetes and 145 persons were screened for eye diagnostics.During this camp 4 patients were sent for free cataract operations ,and 54 patients were given free spectacles.The cost o which would be borne by the club.
3)Talks were given to the members on the following topics.a)"Insurance - The basic need of the present Scenario" b)'Skills of Life"
1)265 unites of blood was collected from various corporates during a special Blood collection drive organized by the club
2)100 tree saplings wee planted in Jigani area
3)Second round of National Polio immunization was undertaken where in 28000,children were administered the Polio vaccine in the ares serviced by the club.
4)A talk was given to the members of the club ,the topic of which was "How to reverse any disease or problems&interpreting Life's Realities"
1) Talks were organized during the month by expert professional speakers on their following topics
a) Internet Operations,Knowing for latest advancements for optimum returns.
b)BPO start up now& its future from an Entrepreneurs view.
c)Pranic Healing and Twin Heart meditation.
d)Mathematical problems and Problematic Mathematicians.
2)Ayurvedic camp was organized at Koramangala third block a well as a Blood Collection camp where 74 units blood were collected from corporate s at Neelamangala
1)Dental health check up camp was organized at Sarvagna Girls High School where in 100 girls were examined and necessary treatment was provided,
2)The first round of the National Polo Immunization day was organized wherein 27000 children were administered The Polio Vaccine in the areas which were serviced by the club.
3)An Osteoporosis detection camp was undertaken with the collaboration of the Rotary Main club where 85 people availed of this opportunity and necessary consultation was advised where necessary.
4)Special dinner was sponsored for the inmates of Asha Niketan at their Koramangala facility
The Walkathon was co sponsored with Art of Living Sagar Hospital, novo nordisk and ROTARY INTERNATIONAL.Free screening camps were organised for Blood sugar,blood pressure etc, Doctors were present for giving any advise if requred The.camp was attended by 3 members from our club and Rtn.Nagabhushan attended with his family

Rtn. Nanditta's daughter Vaania Kapoor Achuthan who is 8 years old topped the prestigious trinity exams conducted by Trinity Guildhall College, London. She came out with a distinction of 99/100 in Speech and Drama. She is not only cute and bubbly but has an intelligence we should all be proud off.
Congrats Vaania and wish you many more successes in your life.
Rtn Nanditta won 6 golds(4 individual and 2 team) in the State Masters Aquatic Championship held recently. She will now go for the nationals in Hyderabad next month.

Dr Rajesh is geeting married to Dr Shamala MDS this weekend on Sunday 10-10-10 7 Pm onwards (Reception) at chickaballapur Town and Marriage on 11-10-10 9-15-10-15AM.
It is a matter of great pride to all rotarains that our Past President Rtn Ravi Kumar has been conferred a doctorate degree in Management Studies. At his age, it shows a tremendous zeal and determination to excel in the areas he has chosen to focus on. Our President Elect Rtn Jagmohan and Ann Lakshmi accompanied thier daughter Annet Akruti to US last week to settle her in Boston for continuing her studies.RCBK wishes Annet Akruti a wonderful education experience in US.
Under the ‘Kalikegagi Belaku' (Light for Education) project taken up by “Namma Muthur”, students were given solar lamps in March this year. ‘Light for Education', a SELCO concept has been implemented by the company and is being managed as a Rotary Club of Bangalore Koramangala project.
