This week's speaker was Louisa Castrodale, the Arts Coordinator for the Palm Springs Unified School District.  Ms. Castroldale informed members of the numerous types of arts programs alive and flourishing in our school district along with the profound impacts these programs have on students of all ages.

Rotary Club of Palm Springs Presents Paul Harris Recognition Award to Congressman Raul Ruiz, MD
 

Wednesday November 6th at 1p.m. found Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. speaking to the Rotary Club of Palm Springs at the Spa Hotel.  His visit gave the club the opportunity to honor him with the coveted Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Fellow award, in recognition of his ongoing  service to mankind through his humanitarian efforts in Haiti and as a caring physician.
