We are Talking Golf
The 2016 Charity Golf Tournament came to an exciting climax on Saturday 12th November with Tim Mangal from the CIBC First Caribbean International Bank Team winning the Audi A1 for making a Hole in 1 on the 8th Hole as specified.  This is the 1st time in the 24 years of this tournament that the prize has been won.  Congratulations to Tim for this achievement!

Rotary-UN celebration mixes business with diplomacy

Outside the United Nations building in midtown Manhattan stands an imposing sculpture of a man wielding a sword in one hand and raising a hammer with the other. It reflects a shared goal that Rotary and the United Nations celebrated at the organizations' annual meeting on Saturday, 12 November: to use our strengths and tools to build a more peaceful and just world.

Rotary Foundation Month - November 2016
Remember the work of the Rotary Foundation.  Remember to Give to the Foundation to support the many projects including projects like the 150,000 Gallon Water Tank at Plateau Babonneau; the Grow Well Building; The X-Ray Machine at the Gros Islet Poly Clinic; The Mobile Dental Chair for the Schools Dental Project; The Bookshelves in Secondary Schools Island Wide; Open Heart Surgeries for needy Children in Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent, plus others.  All of these projects were carried out as projects of Rotary Club of Gros Islet and were funded by the Rotary Foundation and partner Rotary Clubs.
 
So once again we ask you to support Our Rotary Foundation.
