Membership - We Want You!

Every month we're seeing new Rotarians being inducted into the Rotary Club of Roatan. Each new Member brings with them a wealth of experience, enthusiasm and expertise that are immeasurably important to our Club. Business owners and private citizens of the Island (both full and part time) are welcomed to apply for membership.
 

If you are interested in joining our dynamic, vital and growing Rotary Club, any Club Member will be happy to speak with you. We invite all interested potential new members to attend a meeting! Talk with Club Members!

Becoming a Rotarian is not a decision to be taken lightly â€" it involves a commitment of your time and talents to help make our Island home a better place.

New member must be able to attend a minimum of least 60 % of the weekly scheduled meetings here on the Island, as well as participate in one of the Standing Committees.

For those potential members who want to join the Rotary Club of Roatan but due to other commitments feel they would be unable to meet the 60% threshold for attendance at meetings, we offer membership as a Friend of Rotary . Friends of Rotary are solely affiliated with their local Rotary Club (in this instance the Rotary Club of Roatan). Friends of Rotary can attend Rotary Club meetings while on the Island but have no Official status with the Club and are not listed on The Official Club Roster (Friends of Rotary do not have their attendance reported to Rotary International). Friends will be receiving special recognition for their donations as well as their participation in and assistance with Club projects.

Membership Chairman is always available to speak with potential new members, discuss what it means to be a Rotarian and to further explain the differing types of Rotary Memberships that are available to you.
