It all began in the 80s ...
The Redwood Mountain Faire started in the early 1980s as a way to feature the talent of local artists, and musicians, in a community event that would benefit local charities as well. It was extraordinarily successful for 18 years, and became the model for other festivals, including the Strawberry Music Festival. After a hiatus of many years, the community wanted it back, so back it came in a remarkable rebirth, at a beautiful new venue, Roaring Camp (thanks to Georgie Clark), in June, 2010.
