COMMUNITY FORUM ON STATE BALLOT MEASURES

On September 29, 2018, at 11:30 a.m., John Laird, California Secretary of Natural Resources, will conduct a free community forum to discuss and explain the 11 statewide measures on the November 6 ballot.  There are several measures that will have a large and immediate impact on everyone, including repeal of the recent gas tax and vehicle fee increase and repeal of a statewide restriction on local rent control laws.  The forum will last about an hour, and will be held at Park Hall, 9400 Mill Street, Ben Lomond, next to the Ben Lomond Market.  Light refreshments will be served, and kids are welcome.  The event is being hosted by the Valley Women’s Club of the San Lorenzo Valley, and is being co-sponsored by the Press Banner and the Rotary Club of San Lorenzo Valley.
