RODEO

Come hear all about the Rowell Ranch Rodeo, which starts this week and is our biggest fundraiser.  Russ Fields will talk about the Rowell Ranch Rodeo and its induction into the Professional Rodeo Hall of Fame.  Janet will talk about the Rodeo Education Programs.

Russ Fields is the President of the Rowell Ranch Rodeo and President of the California Six Pac.  He is a lifelong resident of the area and a  3rd generation rancher,. He is a former PRCA Contestant.  And currently has his Gold card.  (meaning he is over 50:)  Still competing in the Local Team Roping & Wild Cow Milking events.

Janet Lemmons is a lifelong resident of the area, and two sons who are PRCA contestants.  Ethan competes in Bull Riding & Saddle Bronc Riding, and oldest son, Ory competes in the Steer Wrestling event.  Owner of local business, Rowell's Saddlery & Western Wear in Castro Valley.  Has worked for Cowboys & Kids, educational organization for past 15 years.
