Chance International Outreach is a Minnesota based non-profit organization established to rescue young girls, women and children in Liberia who are in unsafe situations. Seton is the mother of three and grandmother of four. Evelyn holds a certificate in Culinary Art as well as Caregiving and currently works as a Caregiver.
She was born in Liberia, West Africa and migrated to Minnesota in 1992 as a refugee from the brutal civil war in her country. Despite getting out of Liberia safely in 1992, it took more than a year before she knew the whereabouts of her children. One of her children and two of her grandchildren are still in Liberia.
Seton established Chance International Outreach to help make a difference in the lives of young women in Liberia. Their plight is exceptionally difficult as Liberia is emerging from a brutal civil war and an outbreak of the Ebola virus. Chance International Outreach rescues young girls and their babies by providing a stable & safe environment for them that allows them to obtain a basic education, learn basic computer skills, as well as getting training in culinary arts, cosmetology, and sewing.
