Club Meeting-Jess Liekhus; CareMinders Home Care

Jess Liekhus, CTRS, is the Director of Community Relations at CareMinders Home Care.  Jess markets, the exceptional care, that CareMinders Home Care provides to seniors. 

Jess believes that seniors deserve to have respect, dignity, great care, and maintain as much independence as they can. 

Jess has worked in Adult Day, Senior Living Communities, Home Care, Community Programs, and for non-profits.  Jess works in the field, with seniors, because of her own grandparents.  Jess’ grandparents not only cared for her, but they also cared for others in their community.  Jess remembers her Grandpa telling her that, “helping others is the right thing to do.”

Jess is certified in Alzheimer’s EssentiAlz training, and in Parkinson’s care.  Early on in life, Jess knew she wanted to care for others, she was awarded the Caring Youth Award, while in High School, which only fueled Jess to do more in her community. 

Jess holds a degree in Therapeutic Recreation (TR) from University of Wisconsin La Crosse and is nationally certified in Therapeutic Recreation. 

Jess is passionate about being an advocate for seniors. And a resource for seniors in her community.
