Join us for our January STRIVE Meeting where Daniel Nelson will do a follow up discussion with his goal setting topic and we will review the assignment the students were given - to set a goal and determine the ONE THING they can do this week to make progress towards that goal. We are hoping for a good turnout from Rotarians to discuss one on one with the students. |

Greetings Rotarians. The speaker for this meeting will be Brandon Grochow from Dassel. Brandon returned from living in Alaska for over 10 years to open a seafood business in downtown Dassel that sells wild, natural, sustainable seafood. His business, My Alaska Seafood Connection supports local fishermen, and he shares their stories. Brandon will share about his experiences in Alaska and his knowledge of the commercial fishing industry. Brandon has worked with Mary to provide some Alaskan seafood for the meal. So this is a meeting not to miss! You get to listen to the speaker and sink your teeth into his message. We are hoping for a full group on Thursday so we hope to see you there! President Tim |

Join us for our February STRIVE Meeting. 11 AM at the DC High School Community Room (inside the Performing Arts Center Lobby). Pastor Tim Wheatley will be discussing goal setting and having an intentional plan for the future - instead of 'taking a year off.' Pastor Tim usually has some fun group activities to do as part of his presentation. Pizza for lunch and some good conversation with our senior STRIVE students. The only thing you need to bring is a positive attitude and a willingness to share some of your life experiences with these high school seniors. An RSVP would be great so we can order plenty of pizza for everyone. Call or Email Andy if you need anything! |

May 08, 2017 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
You and a guest are invited to join us for the 2017 STRIVE Banquet where we will celebrate the efforts and accomplishments of our students over the course of this year. We will enjoy a nice dinner, hear from the students themselves, guest speaker, and award scholarships to the top students. The students will attend with their parents, which is a great opportunity for them to show their parents some of the skills the have developed. This program is one of the biggest service projects our club does each year - both in personal efforts and financial support. We hope you will be able to join us and see some of the good things we are doing in our local communities. Monday, May 8 6:00 PM DASSEL HISTORY CENTER We will ask for a few people to assist with some set-up, decorating, and then putting everything away when we are done. More than anything, we ask for your attendance at the banquet. It means a great deal to these students to see a room full of people that cares about them. Please RSVP your attendance or contact Andy Bohnsack if you have any questions or special requests for the banquet. 701-371-3151 bohnsack.andrew@gmail.com.
