PAT McKENNA – Executive Director

Currently holding two careers, one as the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North and as an elected Councilor in the Town of Comox, Pat McKenna is an 18 year resident of the Comox Valley.  Born and raised in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Pat is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University and has a 25-year background in corporate retail with Home Depot and Target Corporations and a 12 year track record with non-profit leadership.

Pat builds community and is currently active as a member of the Leadership team of the Campbell River and District Coalition to End Homelessness, founder and Board member of Three Legged Dog Productions, Board Member Comox Valley Community Justice Centre, Trustee on Vancouver Island Regional Library and a 10 year member of the Board of Vancouver Island Music Fest Society.

Cady (pronounced K-D) Corman

Cady Corman is Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North’s Director of Communications and Fundraising. She grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan and moved to beautiful BC shortly after graduating high school. Cady started with Habitat as a grant writer just over five years ago, was promoted to marketing coordinator shortly after, and then to her current position last year. She has a Diploma in Writing and Publishing from Okanagan College, and Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Communications from Royal Roads University. She recently became a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She has volunteered with MARS Wildlife Rescue, Allan Brooks Nature Centre, and the SPCA
