Prizes and Draws - Fun Day of Golf

Through the efforts of Bernie Ouellet and Frank Morrell and others, there were many prizes.  Some of the draw winners were Tracy Bray - $100 gift certificate to the Boat House restaurant, Ann Marie Brady -- a case of wine from Casa-Dea Estates Winery, Peter House - luggage, Dave Albert -- a double winner of a Boat House gift certificate and a smoker cooker.  A guest of Judy Mitchell's won a 32" television and a guest of Ken Wormald's won a $200 gift certificate to Capers.  

 

Golf prizes were also awarded:  Men's closest to the pin was won by Larry Dufty and ladies' closest to the pin was won by Sally Graham.  Men's longest drive was won by Cody Woodcock and fittingly, Carol-Lynn smacked a good one for ladies' longest drive.  Closest to the pin, either men's or ladies' was won by Ken Wheeler.  Congratulations to all!

 

Three (3) team prizes were also recognized and this year, a new plaque was presented and the green jacket is "retiring" to Carol-Lynn's closest for safe-keeping.  First place, men's low score went to Norm Harry, Mike Pretsell, Ron Anderson and Larry Werkhoven.  Second place, men's low score went to John Smale, Wolf Tausendfreund, Dave Quickert and John Guthrie.  First place, ladies' low score went to Mary Maidment, Beth Carson, Heather Nielson.
