The Annual Holiday Lunch was a great success. More than 50 Rotarians and other guests attended the event and enjoyed a delicious turkey lunch with all the trimmings. District Governor Michael Bell and his wife also attended the event to join the club in recognizing the amazing work done by charities supported by the club in 2015. Kathy in her speech briefly introduced the representative and the organization who were supported by the club during the year 2015.
Raffle Draw
After lunch was over, a raffle draw was arranged and the lucky winners received various kinds of prizes. All the prizes were generously donated by the club members.

Jim, treasurer of the club presented a motion in club assembly to appoint President Elect for 2016-17.
During the assembly session a motion to provide funds to the local charities were also presented.
Members of the club unanimously elected Norman Waite as the Elect President for 2016-17. Jim and Kathy also agreed to continue working as Secretary and Treasurer of the club.
.The refugee dinner sponsored by the Rotary Club of Toronto-Forest Hill and the Ing family held on December 17 at the CICS Head Office proved to be a huge success based on the number of participants. In addition to the 150+ refugees which included children and seniors three levels of government were represented. MP and Deputy Government House Speaker Arnold Chan, MPP Sue Wong and City Counsellor Chin Lee applauded the Rotary Club's initiative for goodwill gesture welcoming the recently arrived refugees.
