The Rotary Club of Toronto-Forest Hill was honoured to hear an address by Sir Dr. Godfrey Bacheyie.  Following an impressive biographic introduction by his friend and fellow Rotarian, Jim Moore, Dr. Bacheyie proceeded to describe his involvement in his home town in Ghana.  His work in this West African country is supported by his home club, the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918)and will now be supported by our club as our new international area of focus.  Some of the many projects that have been completed or are ongoing include 4 bored wells, neo-natal facilities, medical supports and training for local doctors, nurses and midwives, medical equipment, support for the disabled in the community and much, much more.

Forest Hill members, guests and visitors stood to give Dr. Bacheyie a standing ovation in recognition of his passionate efforts on behalf of people in western Ghana.

The Rotary Club of Toronto - Forest Hill is fortunate to partner with the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) in this important and ongoing work!
