Guest speaker: Inga Spatari PhD
Inga Spatari is a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner in Vaughan, Ontario, Professor at Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and director at Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada. She is the expert of the magazine “Be Healthy” and is one of the three best acupuncturists in GTA according to the opinion of this magazine.
While addressing the members of Rotary Forest-Hill, Inga emphasized that proper care should be taken to choose an acupuncturist before commencing a treatment. She said that period of treatment depends on the age and stage of a disease.. In a post presentation session she answered several questions about the efficacy of this alternate therapy in Pain management and other diseases. While answering the Marvin question she informed the members that the needles used in acupuncture therapy are sterilized and do not carry any fluids..
