Sarah will be our featured guest speaker on Thursday, January  15, 2015 and what an exciting two-part story she has to share with us. The Central YMCA is the prototype centre of community model for other YMCA locations across Canada. The YMCA, as you know, helps to build strong, healthy communities. Would you believe 3000 people pass through its Grosvenor St. doors every day! Sarah will talk expertly about a range of innovative programs offered at this Downtown Toronto location for children, youth, adults and newcomers.

Sarah will also talk about the preparations for an incredible new centre of community, the Cooper Koo Family YMCA, which will be located at the corner of Front and Cherry Streets. It is scheduled to open after the Pan Am and Para Pan Am Games in the spring/summer of 2016 at a sized of 82,000 square feet. When the Cooper Koo Family YMCA opens, Sarah will become the General Manager.
