Welcome Party for Japanese Students

On August 7, 10 students from the Tohoku Region of Japan will be arriving in Toronto.  Club members are invited to the welcome reception at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Center at 4:30 to greet the students and enjoy food and drinks prepared by the JCCC. The cost is $25.00 (no regular club meeting on this day).

This initiative, Support Our Kids, is designed to assist children affected by the tsunami in developing resiliency and leadership skills.They will have an amazing experience in Canada that will inspire them to assist in the restoration of their home communities.
