Looking for a way to connect to the community?  Want to feel you are making a positive difference in the world? Get to know the value and fulfillment that comes from “Service Above Self”.

The AMP Rotary Evening Group of Moorestown group is having an Open House at Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar at the Moorestown Mall on October 1 from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. Appetizers will be served and there will be a short presentation where you can learn about the impactful work Rotary is accomplishing.

The AMP (Alternate Meeting Group) allows people who can’t attend Rotary meetings during the day the opportunity to serve as a Rotarian.  The group meets the first and third Tuesdays of the month at Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Upcoming activities will include:

  • Fall Clean-up of the Swedes Run Dog Park, October 20, noon – 2 p.m.,  which they adopted as an ongoing commitment to the community.
  • Assembly and donation of care bags for Virtua’s Samson Cancer Treatment Center
  • Participation in the 43rdPancake Breakfast (run by breakfast and lunch clubs), on October 27, which raises funds for college scholarships and local, regional and international projects.
  • Involvement with the Spring Prom run by Urban Promise to support at risk youth in Camden.
