This is a reminder that due to a scheduling conflict, our June 18 meeting will take place in Huron Room E at the Holiday Inn.  This is a temporary change and we will return to our regular digs at our next luncheon meeting on July 9.

At our June 16 meeting, your board of directors voted to accept credit card payment for dues, events, meals and any club fees with the exception of raffle tickets. This represents a major change in the way that we do business and we would like to thank Treasurer Stephanie Oliver for researching and negotiating reasonable bank fees that will allow our members to take advantage of the convenience of credit cards. This change will be effective with our next event - President's Night on June 24 - and with this next round of dues invoices.  

You are cordially invited to welcome incoming President Bryan Schindel at our annual President's Night on Wednesday, June 24 at the Arbor Brewing Company,114 Washington Street, Ann Arbor.

 

Here are a few important details about the evening:

- There is a parking garage immediately across from the Arbor Brewing Company near the intersection of Washington /4th Streets. Parking is $1.20 per hour, payment is accepted by cash or credit card

- We will be meeting in the TAP ROOM, a private meeting space at the back of the restaurant

- No-host cocktails in the Tap Room start at 6:00 pm, followed by a dinner buffet at 6:30

- Advance registration is requested, tickets are $27.50 per person

- Casual attire, Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops are welcomed and encouraged.

The Rotary Club of Brighton will host the first Top of the Mountain Dash or Crash on Saturday, June 20 at Mount Brighton.  The first waves begin at 2:00 pm. the kids run starts at 2:45 pm and continues to 3:15 pm. The day also includes a one mile bunny hill fun run, beer tents, music and other entertainment (planned and spontaneous).
