This is a holiday event for friends to get together, in a social atmosphere, and have some fun.
 
We will have a white elephant gift exchange and ugly holiday sweeter contest. Catering is from Ypsilanti's own Angel Food's.
 
Cost is $25 per person and bring your own beer.

Last week we held an impromptu Club Assembly (the scheduled speaker did not show). We did on online and live demo of acquiring a My Rotary account. The purpose is to build toward the Presidential (Club) Citation. Attached find a handout outlining what we must accomplish to earn the Citation.
 
Here is what I am asking each club member to accomplish before our next meeting:
 
"Have  at least 50 percent of members identify their skills and interests in their My Rotary profiles, and unlock that section to make it visible on their public profiles."
 
Here's how:
 
1. Obtain a My Rotary Account:
 
  • Go to www.rotary.org
  • click on the My Rotary link
  • click sign in/register
  • if you do not have an account - click Create Account. 
  • Continue following the directions until you have linked yourself to our club.
2. Once you are logged into My Rotary Go to Profile under the  My Profile section, and
  • Fill out your profile completely including your Skills and Interests
  • Then unlock it to make it public. You can lock down elements so they are not public - like your birth date.
