Guest speaker - Evan Brandt

The July 14th meeting will feature Evan Brandt, long-time reporter for the Pottstown Mercury.
Evan was featured on a page-one story in the New York Times last year, and he has been honored with several journalism awards. He will talk to us about becoming essentially a one-man news operation in the last few years during which the Mercury was sold again and again and again. He'll be able to tell stories that couldn't get printed and maybe give us his best and worst stories. Regardless of whether you read the Mercury or not, please come out for recognition of one of our small town treasures.
