Rotary theme for January 2021 - Vocational Service Month

In her own words:

Tonight's guest speaker is Aastha Bansal. She created a local program to benefit young people several years ago called The Future Einsteins. She is a 2020 graduate of Spring-Ford High School. Currently, Aastha is a freshman in the Pre-med program at Emory University in Atlanta GA. In her senior year at Spring-Ford High, she earned two scholarships for her academic achievements. Her charity is providing free tutoring (help with home work etc) service also for children kinder garden through high school. They have about 12-15 kids who are taking advantage of that.

I propose that our club lend financial support to her program for our January charity.

In her own words:

"Aastha Bansal is a first-year student at Emory University majoring in neuroscience and behavioral biology on the premed track. She is involved in research, healthcare extracurriculars, community service, and works part-time at Wegmans. She and her friend founded The Future Einsteins last year to offer free science camps to students in underserved areas, and since then, their approach has broadened to offer free tutoring in all subjects, weekly science blog, and monthly science sessions. She is passionate about healthcare and education and is excited to see The Future Einsteins make an impact in the lives of future generations. "
