Dr. Ehrenkrantz will be discussing an opportunity for vocational training. Look for event brochure in an email. He writes:
"My name is Dr. David Ehrenkrantz and I'm Chair of the Vocational Training Team Committee for Rotary District 7450. Our District is applying for a Vocational Training Team (VTT) Grant with the Rotary Foundation. I and Past District Governor Bob Lankin are working together on this grant -- we're both members of the Northeast Sunrisers Philadelphia Rotary Club. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the VTT design: these are projects where we send professionals to "train trainers" in a foreign country. We're looking to send a group of nursing professionals to Pignon, Haiti to augment nursing services on that northern part of the island. We've engaged a professional training team from Queens, NY, whose leadership includes two graduate level nurse educators from NYU and Pace University, along with a program administrator. They'll be going to the island and working with a nursing team at Pignon Hospital. The Rotary Club of Pignon will act as the host club."
