Valley Youth House THRIVE Shelter Program and the people it serves

Valley Youth House is one of the beneficiaries of our district grant and Tastes & Tunes. The THRIVE Shelter Program provides housing and support for female-identifying trafficking survivors ages 14-21.

Valley Youth House’s THRIVE program (Transitional Housing. Resilience. Independence. Victorious. Empowerment.), offers housing, meals, clothes, and personal items for female-identifying trafficking survivors ages 14-21, and connects them with peer mentors, drug and alcohol treatment, psychiatric care, employment training, and medical/dental care.

Youth have individualized support in developing a plan to meet their life goals.  The ultimate goal of the program is to provide the necessary skills and support for these young people to successfully reclaim their lives and have a place in the community.

Aluycha will be joined by Megan Sell of the Valley Youth House team.
