Now that the cooler weather is here and the leaves are falling, time to cleanup our Park on Sand Island! Hurricane Ida flooded the Park, but thanks to Al Philpotts and Rocco Damato getting there ASAP , they remediated much of the silt deposited across the way. Now it's time to finish that work and do some pruning-need some rakers to shake the silt (and leaves?). Tools will be available, but feel free to bring your own pruning shear, lopper, dirt and/or leaf rake.

The Dates are Saturday November Sunday November 7 with a start time of 9AM at the Ice House Parking lot. Even an hour or two of your time will help us keep the Park beautiful and show what Rotary does to enrich our community. And a great way to see our fellow Rotarians in person!

Please contact me at aykroydhardware@verizon.net with which day you can help (water & safety vests will be available). Cindy Glick will lead the party Saturday & Pete Mickolay will lead on Sunday.

Thanking you in advance for your service,

Pete Mickolay
