Monte Carlo night at Good Shepherd will be held on Monday night, February 12. This is tremendously popular for the residents and equally rewarding for the Rotary volunteers. For those of you that have not participated, Allentown Rotarians run various games of “chance” with the residents of Good Shepherd, we start the residents out with “Monopoly” money.  Then they play the various games of chance conducted by ARC members, rotating from one game to the next until they've "rocked the house" and won enough money to claim all their prizes.  Are you a "wheel spinner" or a dealer?  Pick your game and work your table:  Roulette, Blackjack, Craps and others

The "winners"  (we will make sure all the residents win) take their Monopoly money and buy a variety of products donated by Allentown Rotary club members:
  • Personal care products: shampoo, shower gel, tooth paste, deodorant
  • Gift cards: major retailers (Walmart, Target), on-line (Amazon), however, no food gift cards
  • Large print puzzle and game magazines/books
  • And, Please, no candy, broccoli, Brussel sprouts or kale

Please bring the various items on the list to the next several Rotary Club meetings. AND sign up to volunteer for Monte Carlo night with either Barb Bigelow (bigelowbw@aol.com) or Rolf Schlake (rolfschlake@gmail.com).
