Don’t Be Spooked: Halloween Is Happening

As rustling leaves begin to fall and cold days draw closer, many are haunted by the question: How will we celebrate the holidays this year? Especially Halloween!
Fact is… Halloween will look and feel a little different this year as people decide how they will celebrate. Whether it’s having fun from a distance, trick-or-treating, enjoying Halloween at home or something in between, Rotarians and others in our community are finding creative and fun ways to celebrate Halloween 2020.
With a little creativity and a dash of magic, families everywhere can transform some favorite traditions into at-home adventures and socially distanced fun.
Here are some clever ideas…
  1. Keep the “trick” by Surprising your neighbors. Drop a bag of candy on their doorstep, or place individually wrapped bags of candy outside your home for passers-by to take.
  2. Miles Apart Trick-or-Treating: Send candy-filled care packages to loved ones around the country.
  3. Spooky Campfire Tales: Share scary stories around a virtual campfire. Take turns reading — or imagining — terrifying tales.
  4. Stroudsburgs Rotary members can “treat” your President by sharing a few stories about Rotary. No Tricks…lol
