Jim Gainer, the Exec. Director of Hope Springs Farm, will be our featured speaker at Monday’s meeting. This program, which is located in Hershey, is home to central Pennsylvania's first agricultural day program for adults with developmental disabilities and autism. The program is licensed through the Department of Public Welfare and is part of Keystone Human Services
Hope Springs Farm goal is to provide adults who have developmental and intellectual disabilities a day program to maximize their abilities. “Growers”, as they are called, take part in various community activities including: volunteering in the local community, visiting local museums, and swimming.
